Carr’s book and Bob’s review reinforce some of the issues I see in the market research my firm has conducted on technology in K-12 education. Schools and the companies that make educational materials (publishers, etc) are increasingly pushing technology in education — eBooks, electronic testing, etc — which is great in some respects but very worrisome in other respects. As more and more learning is technology-enabled or driven, what’s the risk to future generations.
